NTN Bearing Corporation of America (NBCA) is honored to announce a significant milestone in its history: the retirement of Pete Eich, president and CEO, effective June 1, 2025. After 42 years of dedicated service to NTN, Pete has decided to step down from his role, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and innovation. Pete Eich joined NBCA in 1982, as an application engineer. Over the course of his remarkable career, Eich led the engineering department as manager, director, and vice president from 1990 to 2002. He then transitioned to lead the Industrial OE sales department as vice president from 2002 to 2006, before being promoted to president in 2006. Eich has been instrumental in driving NBCA's growth in the US, and his contributions have been pivotal in shaping the company's success. Additionally, Eich served as an executive officer of NTN Corporation from 2011 through 2017. In recognition of his invaluable experience and knowledge, Eich has agreed to remain with NBCA on a part-time basis as executive advisor through August 2025, to assist in the transition to new leadership. “I have cherished every moment of my 42 years with NTN, from my early days as an application engineer to my time as president and CEO. It has been an incredible journey, filled with growth, innovation, and the privilege of working alongside such talented individuals. As I step down, I am confident that Tom Mohrdieck is the perfect leader to guide NBCA into the future. His extensive experience and dedication to our company will ensure continued success. My decision to retire is driven by a desire to spend more time with my family, especially my three wonderful grandchildren. I look forward to this new chapter in my life, filled with family, joy, and cherished memories. Thank you all for your support and friendship over the years," Pete Eich, outgoing president and CEO.

Effective June 1, 2025, Mohrdieck (pictured above), currently vice president of the Industrial OE Business Unit, will assume the role of president and CEO of NBCA.  Mohrdieck brings 35 years of experience to his new position, having joined NTN in June 1990. His extensive background in engineering and sales, including various management and leadership roles at NTN will be invaluable as he leads NBCA into the future. As president and CEO, Tom will oversee each of NBCA's five business segments (Industrial OE, Automotive OE, Industrial Aftermarket, Automotive Aftermarket and Automation), along with Finance, HR, Business Innovation, Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering functions.  Mohrdieck will also be a member of the NTN Americas Leadership team, contributing his knowledge and skills to NTN's revitalization and restructuring efforts in the Americas region. “I am deeply honored to take over the role of president and CEO from Pete Eich, whose leadership and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the success of NTN. Pete's dedication and vision have left a lasting impact on our company, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside him. As I step into this new role, I look forward to leading NTN into the future, building on the strong foundation that Pete has established. Together with our talented team, I am committed to driving innovation, growth, and excellence in all aspects of our business. Thank you, Pete, for your remarkable contributions and for paving the way for continued success,” said Mohrdieck.
